WBGS AutoFix ("we", "the app") is software for mobile mechanics operated by WBGS Smarters. This policy explains what information we keep, why, and the choices you have. If anything is unclear, write to info@wbgssmarters.com.
What we collect
- Your account: your name, email, password (stored hashed, never in plain text), business name, phone, state and language.
- What you enter in the app: your customers (name, phone, email), their vehicles (plate, make, model, VIN, mileage), work orders, prices, payments you record, expenses, appointments, inventory and the photos you upload.
- Notifications: if you turn them on, the address your browser gives us to send you push notifications.
- Location (optional): only if you allow it, your phone's location is used once to guess your state for the license plate. We do not keep your exact coordinates.
- Technical data: basic server logs (IP address, browser, time) used for security and to fix errors.
Your customers' information
You decide what to save about your customers, and you are responsible for having the right to do so. We process that information only to run the app for you. We do not contact your customers, and we do not use their data for our own purposes. When you send an invoice or estimate, the link lets whoever has it see that document, so send it only to the right person.
How we use it
To provide the app, send the notifications you ask for, manage your plan, give you support, keep the service secure and improve it. We do not sell personal information and we do not show advertising.
Who we share it with
- Hosting: our hosting provider stores the data on our behalf.
- Payments: Izipay, which processes the card payment for your plan.
- Maps data: if you allow location, your position is sent to OpenStreetMap's geocoding service to find the state.
- WhatsApp: the "Send" button opens WhatsApp on your phone with a message. What happens next is governed by WhatsApp's own policy.
- Legal reasons: if the law requires it.
Card payments for your plan are processed by Izipay: your card number is typed into Izipay's secure form and we never see or store it; we only keep the amount, date, result and transaction reference. Your customers pay you directly (cash, Zelle, Cash App, Venmo or the methods you add) and the app only records it.
Cookies
We use only the cookies the app needs to work: your login session, a security token and your language. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
While your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account and data, we will do it within a reasonable time, except what we must keep by law.
Security
The app is served over HTTPS, passwords are hashed, and each business can only see its own data. No system is perfectly secure, so use a strong password and do not share it.
Your choices
You can edit or delete your records in the app, turn off notifications in your browser, and ask us for a copy of your data or for deletion at info@wbgssmarters.com. If you live in California, you can ask what we hold about you and ask us to delete it; we will not treat you differently for asking.
Children
The app is for businesses and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will update the date above and, when it matters, tell you in the app.
